FALL Mini-Sessions | NOW BOOKING | Boston Creative Photographer

Fall is my favorite and busiest season every year. The colors are fascinating; everyone wants to get outside, enjoy it, throw some leaves in the air just to see which way the wind is blowing. With that, I get picture perfect moments!

FALL in love with your pictures again!
Mini-Sessions for Fall are now booking. They will be Thursdays to Saturdays, weeks of October 13 – 29.If you are interested, get in touch! This year, to serve my clients even better, I decided to limit the spots that we are offering. There will be ONLY 10 sessions available.

Now, together with the session, each client can opt for a Style Consultation (with all the “what to wear” questions; and visual style guide); and an exclusive “YouTube ready” slideshow (so your family and friends can see your beautiful pictures from anywhere!).

Fall in love with your pictures again!

These upcoming cold months, when outdoors sessions are almost impossible, I won’t be shooting in Joy’s bedroom anymore. Not because I deserve it, but because God is faithful. Yesterday we got the keys for OUR OWN STUDIO SPACE.
We couldn’t be happier!  Everything happened so fast that we’re still jumping up and down with excitement, thankful hearts and, I confess, even tears.
I’ll be writing about it soon and all the info is coming, but for now, I just wanted to share the news and say a few THANK YOUs:
To my God. My Creator, “Deus Designer” who whispers inspiration into my ears. I’m NOTHING without You, Lord. To You be the glory.
To my husband. What to say? I LOVE YOU. For your care and support; for always believing that “it’s possible”; and holding my hands e-v-e-r-y time. You did not give up on me.
Joy. She won’t be able to read this yet, but I want the world to know that she brings out the best in me. Her smile makes me want to be a mom, and a professional she will be proud of.
To our families across the ocean. Some days we miss you more than others. This is one of them.
To my dear friends. Guys, you are unbelievable! Thanks for your support, encouragement and prayers. Thanks for being happy for us, and with us.
To my clients. Again, “I have the best clients”. Thanks for trusting in my crazy ideas, for your patience and kind words. Of course, without you, my passion would never be also called my business.

“Thus far the LORD has helped. (I Sam. 7:12)”
Be-Blessed.  ;.)

ANA JULIA turns 1 | Boston Creative Photographer

Her name is Ana Julia; and I usually don’t start posts with images, but this next one is special.
Printed as a huge 4′ x 8′ banner to her birthday party, was a perfect display of this little girl’s beauty. It should be even bigger! ;.) She’s such a blessing. It brings a smile to my face.

She’s an angel. And as we see, also a doll. A one year old cute doll that I l love seeing grow.
Ana Julia was feature here in a little while ago. Her story is really a miracle, and was a pleasure for me to photograph her again, this time, as a celebration of her first birthday.

“Deixai vir a mim os pequeninos e não os impeçais, porque dos tais é o reino de Deus.” Marcos 10:14″
(“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to.” Mark 10:14)

Juliana & Rodrigo, Obrigada mais uma vez pela confiança!

WORDS on WEDNESDAYS 17 | “LOL Special”

Wednesday is a Happy Day; I love making the “Words”. So this week, I decided to put together a “laugh out loud” post with some funny images and quotes I collected. I certainly brings a smile to my face – I can’t stop laughing at the “teeth” quote – and I hope I can cheer your heart out too.

Even the Bible says that: *”A joyful heart makes a cheerful face, but when the heart is sad the spirit is. (Proverbs 15:13)”.

*”O coração alegre aformoseia o rosto, mas pela dor do coração o espírito se abate.
(Provérbios 15:13)”

Don’t worry. Be happy. Be blessed!

WORDS on WEDNESDAYS 16 | “Future”

I’ve been so busy that sometimes I find myself wondering how the future is going to be if I don’t stop and, as my poor GPS would say: “Recalculate”.
Being occupied all the time isn’t all good as some people think. We loose track of time we should be spending with family and friends, reading a good book, learning something new, or enjoying the old. I’ve learned that if I don’t manage my time wisely, my body suffers, my work isn’t pleasant, and the best on me is wasted. That’s why this week, after two days I got this cold that makes me feel like a little girl who needs mom – including her yummy miracle food – and was ordered “to get some rest” by my doctor, I decided to have “FUTURE and TIME” as theme for WORDS on WEDNESDAYS.

“For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven. (Eccl. 3:1) ”

Thanks for your support. Please do share this post, and if you have a really awesome quote you’d like to share, feel free to leave a comment.
